Found Art - Superheroes
These amateur drawings are a few out of hundreds that came from an estate sale. They were stored in black notebooks and stacked high in a dirty garage. Luckily, they were not eaten by paper bugs. The artist, I am assuming, was a young man who did the drawings anywhere from the late 1960's to the early 1980's. There are tons of superheroes, both male and female, but also lots of notebooks filled with futuristic costumes. I'll try and post more of his work later. For now, here is a sample of lady warriors.

Those are really neat drawings! I used to draw comics when I was a kid, but I wasn't really that good.
Dream Girl seems to be manipulating an invisible puppet? perhaps its her trusty side-kick Marionette Girl!?
Wow - what a find! I think they must be nearer the 60s than the 80s because they are curvy.
And I'm assuming you already know about www.foundmagazine.com
Yes, I have been a fan of Found Magazine since Issue #1. You must have read my mind because I was going to do an entry on them today.
These are super cool super heroines! I'm glad you rescued them from the dustbin of obscurity.
It's funny that Light Lass is actually "lighter than a feather" light, rather than a manipulator of light energy... Or maybe she's both!
