Here are some examples from my collection of envelopes that once held snapshots and negatives.

The Walgreens envelope says "7/39 Fishing" - Were any fishing pix/negz actually in there?

Hi ookpik! I'm sure there were since these envelopes all came from estate sales and were either full of photos or negatives. I have thousands upon thousands of negatives. I usually pull them out of the envelopes and store them separately. One day, when scanner technology is faster, I might just have a look at some of them!

I love the one that's pushing the enlargements. "Nearly a foot high". Hilarious. Never thought of 8x10s that way. :)

Are the envelopes that say "Bombay" from India? It looks like it could be a foreign address, but maybe not. (Is there a Bombay, Texas??)

Good eye, steve. That is an Indian address. "Fort" is (or was) another name for the downtown business district of Bombay (now Mumbai), and "Hornby Road" was a prominent street there. See http://www.mumbainet.com/cityinfo/history.htm
